I love a fun stone and this elongated old mine cut is no exception. John came to me with a vision and we came up with this solitaire setting with a hidden halo. The band is a smooth, rounded band with cathedral sides up to the center stone. The cathedral sides and wider band help to support the large diamond and keep it from rocking or snagging. The diamonds set into the hidden halo offer a subtle shine. My favorite detail of the ring is the soft tab prongs holding in old mine cut diamond. The repetition of the diamond’s shape is a small but thoughtful detail.
