The Process

  • 1. Outreach

    Send me an email to get things started! All engagement rings are personally designed and made by me, Colleen. While it’s an option to come in with an exact idea, it's my job to help you come up with a design tailored to you.

  • 2. Sketches and Digital Renderings

    I will send you sketches tailored to your preferences and budget. We can go back and forth until we have a design you love. Then, I will turn your favorite sketches into digital renderings so you can see the designs come to life before choosing.

  • 3. Pick a Diamond

    Once you're happy with the design, it's time to choose a diamond (or gemstone)! I offer both natural and lab grown options. For local clients I offer in person viewings and for out of area clients I have high resolution 360 videos to share.

  • 4. Finalize Design

    A 50% down payment is required to secure your diamond. From this point, the custom piece will take 2-3 weeks to complete. These 2-3 weeks are for me to fabricate the ring.

  • 5. Complete!

    Your ring is ready! You can either pick it up in person or have it shipped to your house. All jewelry must be paid for completely before shipping/pick up.

  • The first step is sending an email. Briefly tell us what you would like to have made and when you need it by. There's no commitment necessary until you decide on a diamond. With your initial outreach, you will be sent back follow up questions as well as optional reads about diamond grading and the differences between lab grown vs natural diamonds to aid you in making an informed purchase.

  • Pricing varies widely depending on which stones are used. Mountings average between $1,500 and $2,500 but could be more depending on the design. Price of mounting will be available upon receiving digital rendering. Pricing of diamonds will be available upon initial viewing.

  • I work directly with diamond wholesalers to bring you the best diamond selection to choose from. All cuts and sizes are available from old European cut diamonds to modern fantasy cuts.

  • The design process typically takes 2-4 weeks and the fabricating takes 2-3 more. If you need your ring sooner please let us know up front so we can do our best to accommodate. If you are looking to incorporate a fantasy cut diamond or a unique gemstone, please plan for longer to allow for any additional sourcing time that may be needed.

  • We are happy to transform your old jewelry into something new! Heirlooms can be used as long as the stones have no heavy damage. Both loose stones and mounted stones are accepted.

  • Engraving can be added on to the outside of any ring as a decorative element.

    Engraving the inside of the band is not typical for engagement rings. However, we do offer complementary engraving for the insides of wedding bands.

  • Rings can be made in either 14k or 18k white gold, yellow gold, rose gold as well as platinum. Using multiple metals is also an option to create colored metal accents.
